The steel chain link is wrapped in a protective coating to protect your bike, and make it harder for potential thieves to cut the chain.
Spare Key
Use it to secure your bike by wrapping the chain through the frame, at least 1 wheel and a solid post or fence. Be sure to label and store your spare key safely.
